Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. Announces Leadership Pittsburgh XLIII Cohort
Topics: Leadership, Spotlights
Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. (LPInc.) is proud to announce our Leadership Pittsburgh (LP) Cohort for the 2026-2027 program year. LP XLIII comprises sixty-three executive-level leaders from across our region’s businesses and organizations. These leaders will be working to enhance their community leadership capacity from September through June by examining critical community issues and challenges so that they are better equipped to act on our region’s civic agenda.
For over forty years, Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. has been dedicated to developing a diverse group of leaders to serve and advance Southwestern Pennsylvania. LPInc. produces programming, partnerships, and connections through cohort-based programs, executive networking, nonprofit board matching, and a robust, cross-disciplinary, multi-generational alumni network. Core programs educate executive-level leaders, high-performing professionals, and current or former military service members. These programs serve as benchmarks across the country and have inspired other organizations within the region. Leadership Pittsburgh is the flagship program offered by LPInc. and selection is highly competitive.
Specifically, the Leadership Pittsburgh program is designed to provide participants with the exposure, experiences, and connections that prepare them to tackle the challenges of senior leadership in our community. Leadership Pittsburgh participants gain a deeper, behind-the-scenes understanding of the region’s interconnected systems by engaging directly with key leaders and changemakers, and leave with a fresh perspective on the community, its assets, and opportunities to make an impact.
Jennifer Daurora, LPInc. President & CEO, thanks the members of this year’s cohort and their referrers, commenting: “The LP XLIII cohort brings together an exceptional group of regional leaders whose experiences, perspectives, and commitment to Southwestern Pennsylvania position them to make a meaningful difference. We are proud to invest in these individuals and the organizations they represent as they seek to deepen their civic and community leadership through the Leadership Pittsburgh program. Their commitment to this experience reflects a shared belief that the power of engaged leaders can shape a stronger future for our region.”
LP XLIII kicks off in September with a reception at Acrisure Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The cohort will begin their learning experience later that month with an opening retreat. Thereafter, the cohort will convene every month around an issue of importance to the region in a highly experiential daylong session that draws on the knowledge of regional issue experts. By June 2027, participants will emerge from the Leadership Pittsburgh program with deeper regional understanding, stronger networks, and greater capacity to create meaningful community impact.
