Who are we?

Organization Info

Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. (LPInc.) is the foremost multi-disciplinary leadership identification, enrichment and networking organization in Southwestern Pennsylvania dedicated to developing a robust pipeline of diverse civic leaders to serve the region. The impact of our programs are felt in all areas of the community and serve as a benchmark across the country. Our graduates and participants are not afraid to tackle difficult issues or take unpopular stands in order to act as catalysts for positive change in our region. As a 501.c.3 nonprofit organization, we are committed to helping the broader Pittsburgh region embrace creativity in its thinking and build bridges of understanding across segments.

The flagship, highly-selective program geared towards established leaders is designed to examine critical community issues, enhance civic-engagement, and empower participants to impact their business and the regional agenda at a leadership level.

Graduates of Leadership Pittsburgh and Leadership Development Initiative now have the opportunity to continue their civic leadership through this "high-touch" board matching program with local nonprofit organizations to serve our region.

LDI is for top emerging talent of organizations. This program uses a data-driven model that outlines strategic approaches to leadership development; these leadership skills are developed within the context of community awareness.

Leadership OnBoard

The Leadership OnBoard program presents the opportunity to be involved in the decision-making process of regional public, private and non-profit institutions. Through LOB, participants initiate a life of community service and civic leadership which is vital to the strength of our region's future.

CLCV™ is aimed at leveraging the strengths and experience of post 9/11 veterans by exposing them to new leadership networks and opportunities in service of our community, and fast-tracking their success in the region as high-potential leaders.

In partnership with the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, we arrange an invitation-only opportunity for senior-executives (with guest) who are new to the Pittsburgh region or new to their position, which links them to a network of their peers in the community.
